Pink top, Green skirt, and Green Bow, Val played by Stacey Dash on Single Ladies episode 7

I am addicted to the show Single Ladies (and Basketball Wives) on vh1. I do like the drama that the characters have on the show but I LOVE the fashion. Val the character played by Stacey Dash on Single Ladies wears the most amazing outfits and shoes on the show. The character Val is styled by the very talented Anthony L Williams who does Fashion Breakdown video clips on the VH1 website about some of the designs that Val wears.

On Episode7, I was floored by the bright colors and style by this pink and green ensemble that the character Val wore. I looked to see if Anthony did any clips on what Val wore during this episode but sadly there were none. So I took some screen shots and was going to send it over to one of my favorite fashion bloggers Claire at the fashion bomb. But I just couldn't wait that long and emailed Anthony L Williams himself. lol. Surprisingly he got back to me right away! (Yay) This is what he said.

Ashley,

Thank you for supporting my work on the show? Are you referencing the pink top with the green skirt? If so, those were 3 separate pieces. The top is Jil Sanders and I designed and created the green skirt from a Carolina Herrera fabric and the bow as well.

Anthony

It was awesome that Anthony got back to me so quickly. Hopefully whenever he comes out with another fashion collection he can put this skirt and bow in it. But until then I will be on the mad hunt for something similar. I've found nothing similar so far. But here are some things that can give you the same silhouette. When I googled Bow Belts.

This Oscar De la Renta belt came up that I love. (too bad its $350) at Neiman Marcus http://www.neimanmarcus.com

The other belt is only in black but is at a more affordable ($8.40) from www.yesstyle.com
I may be purchasing this one.

My Journey to Bra Strap Length Natural Hair.

My goal is to reach BSL (Bra Strap Length) by December 31, 2011. I just wanted to upload a picture of my current hair length. This picture was taken on February 26, 2011. I'm going to be doing some drastic measures in order to reach this goal. Which includes protective styling, (I'll either be bunning or wearing my hair braided up under a wig and making sure my ends don't come into contact with anything that could damage them. ). I will also be taking Nioxin's Intensive Therapy Recharging complex which is a Food/dietary supplement for healthy growth of hair skin and nails. I will be doing my best to do low to no manipulation of my hair throughout the week until I wash again. Wish me luck :)
